YAY YAY HIP HIP HURRAY MY 30TH POST FINALLY LEH. Lolx lame... So long liao still no1 wan gimme inspiration for a new post... sooner or later im gonna die of blog emptiness.... Well heres a stupid post ..... Introducing... The Guide To....
The Do's and Dont's When Ur In A Banquet or Buffet...
Do's
1. Do eat as much as u can, kia su abit, bring a paper bag to tah pao.
2. Do enjoy urself and take wad ur plate can hold, if possible, form a pyramid of food.(buffet)
3. Do bring afew 'Slim Trim' pills... u will need it in such occasions.... believe me.
4. Do wear looser clothes when ur going there. The looser the better, coz u can eat more. But be cautioned if ur a gal... dun wear it too loose or u will be the 1 eaten instead...(tofu).
5. Do take the first innitiative unless ur parents(for children) forbade u to.
6. Do bring a big bag, claim it to carry all ur necessities but use it for storage if ur paper bag doesnt hold.
7. Do be generous on the aluminium foil, its worthed de food, im sure of it.
8. Do be choosy abt wad ur gonna pick, since it is gonna go into ur mouth, it has to die in a beautiful shape.(applies on both but more on buffets)
9. Do finish ur drink as soon as possible, anywayz, theres a free flow of it.
10. Lastly, Do eat onli the best and ignore the others(e.g beehoon) coz u cant possible contain the whole meal in ur stomach... and leave space for desserts, possibly ask ur siblings if they r full to get extra dessert.
Dont's
1. Dont pick a fite when snatching for food, coz u would oni end up getting kicked out of the meal n u DO NOT stand to gain at all.
2. Dont wear horizontally striped clothes cuz its gonna make u look fat, ppl would comment on tat n u will be forced to eat lesser.
3. Dont pick up food dat u dropped. It makes u look bad infront of every1.. or worse if u 'tah pao' infront of every1. 1 sentence: Everything has to be slick and clean, no evidence.
4. Dont offend ur elders, especially the grandparents' generation cuz ur bound to get an earful from ur parents. If its too late coz u did it juz now, do not mind ur table manners, eat up everything dat u can. 3 words... show no mercy.
5. Dont always burst into the first dish and GOBBLE em. Instead, carry a load to ur plate and have em slowly, no1's gonna rush u and its not lyk ur unable to finish it b4 de deserts.
6. Dont break ur cup or drop ur utensils. They take time to be replaced n u wont wanna miss any of those free drinks or food.
7. Dont ever stuff the table cloth on ur collar, makes u look retarded.
8. Dont try to make too much a mess on ur plate, food always tastes good on clean plates. If need be, change a new plate, preferably ur younger sibs, coz they hold not much power against u.
9. Dont hesitate to talk to ppl u know at the banquet/buffet. U know they might not be able to finish everything, offer ur kind heart. But in cases where they have a full table or even half table full of fat ppl, save ur saliva.
10. Dont stop to look at the bride/groom(applies to banquets) and continue eating. Only make a quick stand to take pics wif em and hurry bak to ur seat to finish wads undone.
Okay i guess dats all.... 20 rules to abide, each wif its own uniqueness... juz memorise em, it will do u much good.
